Getting ready to list

Ok people,
My daughter just told me it's been since May that I last wrote. Sorry about that! But really, it's the same ol' excuse... I'm so busy! When I do have time, I'm just pooped out and I usually just grab a book and go to bed. Last night Joe and I cleaned the garage last night. It looks fabulous--I need to insert a picture here.. anyway, yesterday was a crazy day. I had the window washers and the gardener over, then we were cleaning things. Kimmie pruned some of the roses for me. (thanks so much for your help!) THe kids picked up the large rocks laying around. Anyway, today I'm heading to yoga, then I have to come back and start spreading the bark..as well as get the house into the MLS. Phew!!! Ok, I"ll try to write more towards the end of the day.
We are off to Breitenbush Hotsprings for the weekend!!!

Getting stuff done

Ok, I"m here. I've been painting like crazy. Joe and I need to paint the ceilings..I"m really dreading that. It kills my arms! So, hopefully Joe and I will do that together with some fun music playing. It's been a slower week this week--as far as massage goes.. I ordered these really cool eyepillows and these body pillows for my Mother's Day Special.. Only I really need to let people know I have a Mother's Day Special!! Sometimes the business part of having your own business is hard..I just love to Massage!!
I was going to go to yoga today..I went..laid on the floor in the studio for about a half hour before the class started then I realized the one teacher that I really can't stand was teaching!! I jumped up so fast and RAN out of there!!! (that's where I found the extra time to get some painting done..) but I never feel as good as when I ve done yoga for the day..I crave it....
THe kids and I are running in the Nike Run for kids this weekend. THe kids are doing 1 K's and I will run a 5K.. I love it when the kids race. THey are so cute and always say stuff like "that was the hardest thing I've done in my life" I love them!! Now I just gotta get Joe running. In my perfect world Joe and I would run together every day, go on hikes and heck I'd get him into yoga too!!! I'm working on him.. I know he would just really love it if I would play video games with him, or even just sit and watch him play...I just can't do it!!!
Isaac is really working on his penmanship. He wrote something hte other day and his teacher told him it was the best handwriting she has seen from him ever..He just beamed. He just loves to write real nice and show us.. I can hear him and JOe right now.. Joe is showing him some triangle move he saw on Ultimate Fighting.. Isaac loves it!!
Madison is really into Fairies. She has been putting food out for them and leaving them notes. She is so sweet. She is working on a new story..SHe is very creative... THe kids are keeping us busy with there softball and baseball. Mady has 2 games a week and Isaac 1. (Please refer to Kims blog for pictures as I am a total slacker and have yet to download pictures from 3 months ago!! )
Ok, that's all for now... Hopefully I'll get some fun stuff up after the race on Sat... I'll try to post again tomorrow.. Just depends how exhausted I am! Love you ALL!

Fabulous Wed

What a great day I had! Did the usual Yoga and spinning, massages etc. But the sun was out. I love the sun! We decided on a drywall guy to retexture our ceilings. I'm so excited to get this done!! We are also redoing our upstairs bath and our entryway. Hopefully all these improvements will help us get what we need our of our house!!!
Isaac was so sweet today. He came in after being outside for about a half hour and asked me if he could have the job of watering the plants outside. He told me how he felt good about watering the plants. He's so sweet. I showed him how to prune the hydranga--then he did the entire plant. He loves helping. I'm glad he recognizes how good you feel when you contribute to something!
You all know how fabulous Kimmie is, but let me just reiterate how awesome she is. I love her!! She's fun to be around and she just really makes our family feel even more complete. She helps me with dinner--tonight she and Mady made tacos. We all ate together at the table and you should have seen those kids putting away the food! She just brightens all our days. Thanks Kim!

Busy Monday

Hello,
I know, it's been a while, but I am really running around like a mad woman! Today I did some of the usual- woke up at 5:30, went to my spinning class, came home and made green waffles for the kids--I took a picture, but I'm not sure where the cord is to upload it!!! Got the kids to school. I had to drive them today.. Isaac has a hard time getting up in the morning, and the boy never wants what I make him for breakfast!!! (usually we walk to school-takes us about 15-20 minutes) Then I went to a hot yoga class.. Came home, made the kids lunch--they had a half day today-- then got them all situated,, gave an 1 1'2 hr massage to a client, then got the kids off to piano lessons, then drove Mady to softball--but her coach never showed!!! I was a little peeved about that! Then came home did another 1 1'2hr massage. THen made dinner for everyone. Man, I can't believe I fit all this into the day!!I'm not even done yet!! THen I rallied the troops to clean out the shop area so we have a place to store stuff.. I have agents coming to the house tomorrow to do a market analysis, so I want it to look as clean as possible. So, after at least an hour and a half in the saw dust, I then came in and did the dishes. I really feel so good when the kitchen is clean. I go to bed happy knowing I'll wake to a nice clean counter top. Anyway, THat's Monday for ya. I'm pooped, gotta get up at 6 to start again!!! Send me lots of energy vibes.. I really function well keeping this busy.. I hate not having anything to do---except on vacation-that's where I finally relax. Goodnight everyone.

The Weekend

Well, we made it through the weekend!! So here's what happened: Joe was very sick and right about at the peak of his sickness, the painter came to paint the trim downstairs. So by Friday night we were all getting a little contact high from the oil based paint. So I convinced my sick Joe--who had a 101 temperature and a bad headache : ) -- that we needed to stay at a hotel. Madison was super excited and proceeded to inform Joe aobu the "toxic fumes" So the three of us--minus Isaac who stayed the weekend with my sister- stayed at the Marriott at Redmond Town Center. We took a small video there and you all know how tech savy I am--I must wait for Joe to help me post it. Anyway, it was great fun for Mady and I..Joe just slept in bed. We all woke up and had the buffet breakfast then Joe headed up to bed. Mady and I went to the bookstore where we both read some fun things.. THen Mady and I checked out some shops.. Sales weren't that great so we headed back to our room. Mady then insisted that it was time to use the pool!! Ok, the pool was heated but it was still 10:30am and in the shadows! But she persisted so I grabbed my bikram book and headed to the pool with her. I was freezing--sitting on the side of the pool, but she was so happy, and that made me happy. WEll, I lasted about 30-45 minutes. THen we headed home. Our busy Saturday was filled with some fun at the park and then 2 more basketball games for Mady. WE thne stayed the night at our friend's house. THat was great and very comfortable. We have some great friends.
Sunday was a busy day at church. I teach the 14-18 YO girls. They are a great group. I learn alot from their insights.
Well, now we are getting ready for school. Have a fabulous Monday!

THe weekend

Wow, I haven't posted in a while. I have been taking lots of fun pictures so hopefully I can get them on here--so it's a little more fun to read my blog.. Well, we all survived a crazy week of illness around here. (although Joe is now complaining of feeling crappy--and he keeps asking me to take his temperature) Joe and I (mostly Joe) have been working on our house more. Sunday we got all suited up and scraped the popcorn ceiling in one of the rooms of our house. I sprayed the water and Joe scraped away. It is so satisfying to see the bare ceiling!!
The weather here has just been fabulous. THe kids and I road our bikes and played for a few hours at the park yesterday and again today. The kids sure get worn out quickly--poor babies locked up all winter!!!
My Grandmother sent the kids some $$ and since Isaac knew exactly what he wanted , we made a trip to Toys-R-US to purchase his THe Force Unleashed Lightsaber. He's one happy dude. THe thing can change colors (red and green) and it make cool sounds. Mady wasn't as sure about what she wanted so she decided she wanted a trip to the bookstore to pick out a few things there.
While out there in Bellevue we stopped at the Cheesecake Factory. Those of you who really know me, know that I have a major sweet tooth--this is the reall reason behind all my crazy workouts!!-- anyway I am sitting here enjoying my Chocolate Raspberry truffle cheesecake as I type. YUM!
Anyway, that's all for now. Joe's asking for some help.

Busy Wednesday

Hi everyone. My fabulous daughter made me a blog!!! So, now I need to try to write in it when I can. Hopefully she'll help me put cute pics on it etc so that it looks fun.
Well, I've been home busy with my sicko's. Both the kids are home for a 3rd day. THey have 100 degree temps. So sad! But Today Isaac seems pretty chipper... enough to cause some rucous around the house, but not enough to go back to school. WE have sterilized everything. My wash machine has been going full boar since Sunday!! But at least the house will be extra clean.
I'm so lucky to have Kim living with us. She is such a huge help to me.. I can't imagine trying to do all this plus keeing my work shedule up without her.
So, today I have a client this morning then I will try to get some yoga in... Plus more cleaning.
Joe started gutting another room in our house. We are about to start scraping the remainding popcorn off the ceiling. (UGH) We decided to move forward with our plans of fixing up what we can then trying to sell the house this summer.. (we got a bid to remodel the upstairs--it entailed moving plumbing, the kithcen, bathroom, moving a couple walls, florring etc..it was 170K) when we got the total we just said it's not worth it to do all this.. we could just get a new house for just a little more $$$. So, that's where we're at for now. So, if you're ever feeling bored on the weekend, come on over we have lots to do!! :)
